History of Camping Olympia in Dobbiaco

As you may already know, we have celebrated an important anniversary in 2004: our campsite is fifty years old.

With just five tent pitches, Camping Olympia in Dobbiaco opened way back in 1954 under the skeptic gaze of the local inhabitants. Time, however, proved that our innovative, at least in those days, idea was right. Since then, our campsite has grown and become famous not just in South Tyrol and Italy but also abroad. Today, many of our guests come from several different European countries.

The courage shown by our family in starting up this business which was certainly not without its risks was just the beginning of our company. Camping Olympia has become what it is now entirely thanks to the many guests who have spent their holidays here for the last fifteen years.
