The three huge rock towers stand majestically and have become a landmark of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites. As the village of the Three Peaks, Dobbiaco is ideally located to visit these imposing giants of white rock.

  • Hiking in the Dolomites:
    countless hiking and walking trails lead directly past Camping Olympia. You decide for yourself whether you want it to be a tough summit tour or a leisurely walk. By the way: we offer our guests three guided hikes per week free of charge. Go on a journey of discovery in the world of the Dolomites under the guidance of true experts.
  • Off into the water:
    would you like to jump into the cool water? Nothing better than that! In addition to our own pool there are several outdoor pools and natural swimming lakes to discover in the area.
  • With a rope and a carabiner:
    the Dolomites captivate climbing fans from all over the world every year. No wonder, there are countless via ferratas and climbing tours to discover. Find out about difficulties and equipment and you are ready to go.
  • Sightseeing & Shopping:
    if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the villages and towns in our area offer many opportunities for sightseeing or shopping tours. Dobbiaco (2.5 km), San Candido (7 km) or Brunico (25 km) are always worth going to.
Make your camping winter active

Shuttle service to Dobbiaco and Villabassa: to make it easier for you to reach your winter sports destination in winter, our free shuttle service to Dobbiaco and Villabassa is available from December to the end of April. From here you can take the train to your destination for free or start having fun in the snow straight away.

Are you looking for fun on the slopes under a blue sky on perfectly maintained slopes? Then you have come to the right place! There are several ski areas in the immediate vicinity that are well worth exploring.

The Three Peaks ski region has several ski areas to offer: the family and beginner slope “Rienz” is only 2.5 km away. The family ski area “Baranci” in San Candido is 7 km away, and the ski area “3 Peaks Dolomites” can be easily reached in 20 minutes by train.

The famous ski resort Plan de Corones is also just a 20-minute train ride from Villabassa.

Cross-country skiing in the Dolomites
On the cross-country trail:

the trails around Lake Braies, the FIS trails in Dobbiaco or the famous Val Fiscalina are well-known destinations for cross-country skiing fans around Dobbiaco. When cross-country skiing in Alta Pusteria the panorama of the Dolomites will be your constant companion and make your cross-country skiing holiday unforgettable.

You don’t have to go far to get a cross-country skiing experience: the cross-country ski trails lead directly past Camping Olympia. With the Alta Pusteria cross-country ski pass you also save the cross-country ski trail toll and have free access all the way down to Cortina. By the way: we will provide you with a workbench and tools for free to prepare your skis.

Trip to the Christmas market

At advent and Christmas time visiting a Christmas market is a popular tradition for many people. At the weekends it is worth taking a trip to the markets in San Candido or Dobbiaco.

The Christmas market in Brunico is also just a half hour train ride away. For a relaxed outward journey, it’s best to use our free winter shuttle service to Dobbiaco and Villabassa.
